EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 2010-20

ORGANIZING A PROGRAM MANAGEMENT TEAM FOR THE 2010 PEOPLE’S DAY CELEBRATION IN CABATUAN, ILOILO.

WHEREAS, October 10, 2010 is declared as the People’s Day in the Municipality of Cabatuan, Iloilo;

WHEREAS, this proclamation is made to commemorate the signing into law of the Local Government Code of 1991 which bestows upon all Local Government Units the necessary powers to enable them to attain a genuine and meaningful autonomy;

WHEREAS, there is a need to formulate a set of activities to constitute the one day celebration;

WHEREAS, the 10th day of October falls on a Sunday, it is deemed practical and fitting to set the celebration on the 8th day of October which is a Friday;

WHEREAS, there is a need to organize a team to manage the preparation, coordination and execution of the program for this 2010 People’s Day celebration.

NOW THEREFORE, I ROBERT B. MAROMA, Municipal Mayor of Cabatuan, Iloilo by virtue of the powers vested upon me by law do hereby order:

Section 1. The Program Management Team (PMT) for the 2010 People’s Day celebration is hereby organized and to be composed of the following:

Chairman        :  Engr. Jose Norman R.Umadhay, MPDC

Vice-Chairman :  Ms. Venus Pormon, Mun. Accountant

Members : Mrs. Rosario M. Reyes, MAO
Mrs. Decideria S. Bermejo, MSWDO
Dra. Linda Jane B. Yee, MHO
Mrs. Alfonsa Artieda, HRMO
Engr. Jose M. Pancrudo, MEO

Section 2. The Program Management Team shall perform the following:

1. Formulate the program of activities for approval of the undersigned;
2. Facilitate the implementation of the approved program of activities;
2. Coordinate with the BAC for the procurement of necessary supplies;
3. And perform such other functions which are deemed necessary to carry out the objectives of the 2010 People’s Day Proclamation and this Executive Order.

Section 3. The MPDO staff shall provide secretariat support to this PMT.

Section. 4. This order shall take effect immediately.
