ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

January – August 2010

I. FAMILY WELFARE PROGRAM

A. Marriage and Pre-Marriage Counseling

* 2 couples with marital conflict availed marriage counseling needing help to prevent breakdown and maintain healthy marriage.

* 106 would be couples were provided pre-marriage counseling services as a requisite in securing marriage license.

B. Family Case Work

* 22 family members with problems in relationship as a result of crisis situation or poor communication which brought family dysfunctioning were provided services such as task oriented services and referral.

C. Tindahan Natin

· 8 Tindahan Natin projects benefiting 918 families were provided monthly supervision.

D. Philhealth Indigency Program

· Facilitated application for renewal and approval of Philhealth cards of 2057 Indigent beneficiaries and 68 indigent beneficiaries sponsored by ILECO.

E. Solo Parent

* 20 solo parent were provided services such as counseling and information dissemination in the availment of benefits and privileges of RA 8972 otherwise known as Solo Parent Welfare Act through serbisyo espesyal program of the Local Government

F. Parent Effectiveness Service/Responsible Parenthood

* 60 couples of reproductive age attended sessions on responsible parenthood for them to improve husband and wife, parent-child relationship

II. CHILD AND YOUTH WELFARE PROGRAM

A.    Day Care Program

· Facilitated the Recognition Program of the Day Care pre-schoolers of the 9 districts of Cabatuan last March 25, 2010

· Facilitated the Graduation Program of the Day Care pre-schoolers last March 26, 2010. There were 510 pre-schoolers of the 59 Day Care Centers of the Municipality of Cabatuan who were able to move to the next level

· Enrolled 1,274 pre-schoolers of 59 Day Care Centers in the Municipality of Cabatuan as of June 2010

· Out of 1,274 pre-schoolers enrolled for CY 2010-2011, 203 pre-schoolers availed the ECCD Program from 5 pilot barangays namely Brgy. Acao, Brgy. Baluyan, Brgy. Gines Patag, Brgy. Tiring and Poblacion.

· Day Care Workers planted 180 seedlings at Brgy. Banguit Relocation Site as one of the activities during the Day Care Worker’s Week Celebration last June 4-11, 2010

· During the celebration of Nutrition month last August 2010, the MSWD office conducted a Search for Model Day Care Center. Baluyan Day Care Center garnered the award as Model Day Care Center.

B.    Supplemental Feeding

· Based on the DCW’s Weighing report as June 2010 there were 1,274 pre-schoolers enrollees ages 3-6 years old, from 59 Day Care Centers conducted supplemental feeding program sponsored by Parents Committee, Brgy. Council, GO’s and NGA’s.

· Conducted Responsible Parenthood to the Parents of BNVL and BNL last July 28, 2010 during Tutok sa Nutrisyon Program.
