I. Functional Statement
Ensure that all laws and policies governing the appraisal of real property for taxation purposes are properly executed.
II. Objectives
To appraise and assess all real properties within the municipality in order to generate income for the municipality.
III. Programs/Projects/Activities
1. execution of all laws and policies governing the appraisal and assessment of real properties for taxation purposes
2. receives and subscribes sworn statement filed by property owners and or administrators pursuant to Section 202 of Republic Act 7160
3. establishment of a systematic method of real property assessment installation and maintenance of real identification & accounting system
4. physical survey in order to verify and determine whether all real properties within the municipality are properly listed in the assessment rolls
5. issues certified copies of assessment records of real property and all other records relative to its assessment upon payment of a service charge or fee to the treasurer.
6. updating and resectioning of tax maps
