I. Functional Statement
Takes charge of the planning development office thus, formulate integrated economic, social, physical and other developmental plans and policies for consideration of the local government council, conduct continuing studies, researches & training programs necessary to evolve plans and programs for the implementation of the different developmental programs and projects & activities of the local government unit.

II. Objectives
Immediate implementation of all programs and projects of the municipality

III. Programs/Projects/Activities
1. Formulation of integrated economic, social, physical and other develop-mental plans and policies for consideration of the local development council conducting continuing studies, researches, and training programs and also attending necessary to evolve plans and programs for the implementation integration and evaluation of all sectoral plans and studies under-taken by the different function groups or agencies

2. Monitoring and evaluating the implemented projects preparation of comprehensive plans and other development training documents for the consideration of the local development council

3. Supervision and control over the secretariat of the local government council
