MUNICIPAL SPECIAL ORDINANCE NO. 2006-02

AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING THE STREETS OF RIZAL ILAYA, REGIDOR, ARAGON, RIZAL ILAUOD, MOLINOS, CONFESOR DRIVE AND SAN AGUSTIN IN THE POBLACION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CABATUAN

BE IT ENACTED by the Honorable Sangguniang Bayan of Cabatuan, Iloilo, Philippines, that:

Section 1. There shall be no passage of any private or public vehicles during the temporary closure of the following streets in the specified dates and times:

d. The site of the Food Festival, from September 1-10, 2006, from corner San Agustin and Rizal Ilaya to corner San Agustin and Bermejo Street.

Section 2. Definition of Terms:

a.     Private Vehicles – are vehicles owned by private persons such as: cars, vans, trucks, and other motorized vehicles and the like;
b.     Public Vehicles – are vehicles for hire such as jeeps, taxi, buses, motorcycles for hire, vans and the like.

Section 3. Effectivity – this Special Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
